It’s wild how tsa rules are sometimes completely arbitrary. My boyfriend was once made throw out a tiny 2cm lava rock he had picked up on a volcano, because it was deemed a potential weapon. They made him fill out a form and everything. Oh and he had already flown with said rock leaving from a different airport and no one batted an eye. A cast iron pan you carry in your hand seems much more dangerous than a 2cm rock stored deep in a backpack but what do I know 😅

And about half of all Costco inventory is financed, there’s very little overhead compared to how massive these warehouses are
